Miuccia Fever

My friend says that she can’t leave me alone for five minutes. She’s right! As I was minutes early for our meeting, I popped by the Miu Miu shop at the Landmark in Central to check out the collection and make use of my time. When she arrives, I was already on the sofa trying out a pair of beautiful white leather cutout thong sandals. Ca-ching! There goes HK$4,650. Oh gosh, I really need more self-control! I love the design of the handbag chains in this season’s collection, but since I already have enough handbags, I thought why not wear the design on my feet? Right? (Yea, please don’t remind me that I probably have enough pairs of shoes too.) They also have a similar style in shocking pink at the store. A quick look on the Internet once I got home, I also found other great colours on Net-a-Porter.com and the Miu Miu e-store. I really like the two-tone nude and black, too bad the e-store doesn’t do deliveries to Hong Kong. Should I buy the nude ones at Net-a-Porter too? They are slightly different to my white ones. The nude colour will go with just about everything. I also have my eyes on the Madras print goat leather bag in turquoise which is selling for around HK$12,000 at the store. There’s also black colour and white colour at the store, while the powder pink one is only available through the e-store. A classic-looking structured satchel will be a good investment for the coming seasons and sporting it in a bold and eye-catching colour is the way to go. It’s been four days and I still can’t get it out of my head – Miuccia Prada, what are you doing to me?
