From Bronze to Gold

A celebratory cocktail party was hosted on May 12, 2011, at the Jan Logan store in the ifc Mall as the Australian jewellery brand celebrates its 8th year in Hong Kong. The son of founder Jan Logan, Angus Logan, flew in town especially to host the event and to launch the Mulholland Drive Collection. Like many of the brand’s collections that stem from the passion the Logan’s has for the silver screen, the Mulholland Drive Collection is inspired by the glamorous Hollywood actress Naomi Watts – featuring lustrous South Sea pearls and precious stones in contemporary and timeless designs that are simple and elegant. Local celeb Jennifer Tse was at the event to receive a presentation of the selection of diamond pieces that were chosen and named after her for being the Hong Kong ambassador. Just a quick browse around the shop and I had my eyes set on many great pieces. From diamonds and pearls, to semi-precious stones and gems, silver and gold – it’s got everything under one roof. Not to mention that all of the jewellery are carefully handcrafted in Australia and are reasonably priced. The ifc shop is the only outlet in Asia at the moment, but the brand has plans to open another store in Hong Kong by this year end.
