Jewels and Jams

Is not that I only go to MO Bar for afternoon tea, but the hotel’s recent collaborations with fashion designers and luxury brands are just too good to be missed for a shopaholic like me. How can I dare not try each of them at least once? For the month of May, the MO Bar at the Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong is joining hands with Qeelin, the first Chinese luxury jewellery brand that launched in Paris, founded by Dennis Chan, for a French champagne afternoon tea experience themed around the jeweller’s best-selling creation – Bo Bo The Panda. Just like the brand’s East meets West culture, the tea set menu includes finger-licking savouries finger sandwiches with an asian twist. I especially liked the mini tuna glazed teriyaki burger, and of course, those oven fresh scones that I want all to myself. The deluxe HK$325 champagne tea set also includes a glass of perfectly chilled Ruinart champagne and a Bo Bo The Panda keychain worth around US$150. Sweet! Only until 31st of May, while stocks last. Reservations are recommended.
