Adidas is hosting its ‘adidas is all in’ party tomorrow night at the Ocean Terminal rooftop car park in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui. My girlfriends and I are discussing what we should wear and I think I’ve found the answer – something from the adidas SLVR Spring/Summer 2011 range or, even better, one of these great looking pieces from the capsule collection by Jeremy Scott that are only available at Harvey Nichols Hong Kong right now. American fashion designer Jeremy Scott has outdone himself again, using his signature creative style, on a fresh and fun take, in designing this exciting one-off collaboration, featuring humour t-shirts, ruffle shirts, neck dresses, high-waist shorts and bubble skirts for women and another collection for men. Jeremy Scott is a fashion designer graduated from the Pratt Institute in New York with a major in fashion design. His career took off in Paris and since then he has shown his collections in all the major fashion capitals of the world, including Paris, New York, Los Angeles, London, Moscow, Tokyo and Seoul. He is famous for his eccentric fashion designs that incorporate different visual, icons and eye-catching colours, as well as references to mainstream pop culture. His designs are worn by many big name celebrities such as Madonna, Rihanna, Kanye West, Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake and Lady Gaga. adidas and Jeremy Scott first collaborated on the ‘! S!gned’ collection in 2001 and since then has worked together on a number of projects, such as the ‘adicolor’ campaign in 2006 and the ongoing ‘Originals by Originals’ series, which is part of the adidas Originals line up from 2008.
