It’s About Time

To celebrate the arrival of the new generation of the Chanel J12, a launch party and VIP preview was hosted on June 9th, 2011, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Chanel J12 ‘Chromatic’ refers to a new colour invented by the house of Chanel using a high-tech 21st century material, titanium ceramic, which is achieved by adopting new polishing techniques inspired by the processes that was first used to polish sapphires using diamond powder. The incredible scratch-resistant titanium ceramic has the hardness close to that of sapphires, its unique colour and sparkle are obtained by adding titanium to ceramic, producing dazzling reflections that shifts between tones of black and white. The collection comes in three different styles: Classic, Diamonds and Baguette Diamonds that are available in automatic as well as quartz in a selection of sizes. Have you guys check out Modekungen.se recently? They’ve got some great lookin’ t-shirts that I love, love, love. I especially like this one above. When it says Chanel on it, it’s double the fun. Gotta have it! Gotta have it in the tank top as well as the t-shirt version, both works out to be around US$63. Sometimes buying a little t-shirt can really put my compulsive shopping behaviour at ease. Ahh…
