What constitutes a disease? If you check the meaning of the word ‘shopaholic’, it would probably say something like – one who is characterised by having a compulsive buying disorder. So does buying seven pairs of black boots at one go, when all you wanted to buy is one pair when you walked in the store, (and I probably already have another seven pairs of black boots at home), say I have a serious addiction? Don’t even ask me how I carried all of them home by myself – walking out of the store with seven boxes of boots wasn’t all that glamorous.
During my university years when I was living in London, I would shop from 11am to 11pm, breaks in between of course, but I would carry so much shopping bags up my arms and still managed to hold up my arms to go through the clothing rails that eventually I developed something I call my ‘shopping’ elbows – like those tennis elbows.

These days I am much tamer, because with years of shopping experiences, I am a smarter shopper. I’ve had my days chasing the croissant, the baguette, the Paddington, the Silverado, the Balenciaga motorcycle bag, and of course, my dosage of Valmont, La Prairie, La Mer and Natura Bissé, gosh… what else was there? You know what I’m talking about. With all the most expensive and the cheapest things tried and tested, I have a good eye for quality and value for money. Oh, did I mention that I have years of working experiences as an editor at magazines in the luxury brand and fashion industry and I am also a qualified beauty and make-up technician. So by establishing this website, I hope I can put my interests to good use and share with you all the goodies and good deals I find wherever I happen to be.
