Japanese chic street-wear fashion brand Moussy held its Autumn/Winter 2011 fashion presentation and an after-party at Tazmania Ballroom on September 20. Although it was on a Tuesday but my girlfriends and I were happy to catch up over the free-flow, especially when it is at one of our favourite clubs. The latest Moussy ad-campaign features Abbey Lee Kershaw (pictured above) as the new muse of the brand, who is one of the most sought-after faces on the international runway. — “Like 70s rock music exuberating freedom and power, she is wild, daring and free spirited; radiating allure and style at the same time.” — The ad-campaign includes a series of visual shots taken by celebrated photographer Terry Richardson. To take a closer look, go to a Moussy store near you to pick up a copy of the lookbook. Famous for its retro American flavour distressed denim, this season saw a new line of skinny and vintage-washed wide-legged jeans. Leather and faux fur coats and jackets are always one of my favourite things to buy from this brand, the latest collection includes a selection of studded biker leather jackets with matching leather pants for a head-to-toe rock chick image. Complete the look with chunky silver accessories and bandanas then you are ready to rock.
