Yesterday, I was out with the Hong Kong Fashion Geek and SUPERWOWOMG to queue up for the eighth edition YSL Spring/Summer 2011 Manifesto that was taking place around the world, in Paris, New York, London, Milan, Tokyo, and, for the first time this year, Los Angeles. For us, of course, we chose Central’s Wyndham Street. We met at 11:00am and the queue quickly filled up the street. By 12:00pm, we were swiftly moved along as the staffs were ready to hand out the bags. But it wasn’t without any drama. The lady behind us tried to make a scene about one of our girls jumping the queue. ‘Chill, it’s Saturday and we’re all here to have a good time’ is basically what everybody had in mind and tried to get through to her – including all the staffs. For me, it was the first time I’d ever lined up for some thing that does not require a payment. Ha! It was super fun and I would love to do it again with the girls. The bag is not much, but it’s the experience that counts. You can read more about our little adventure on their blogs. As for me, I hope the pictures speak for themselves.
